Removing crumples from cloth - need help!

Hi!

This is my first post on this board but i've read quite a lot and learned a lot here. So thank you for this great place for learning stuff!


Now, I have a picture that i like to retouch but i have great difficulties with the cloth. Can someone please give me some hints on how to remove the crumples and stains without distroying the texture/structure of the cloth and without looking fake?!

Cloning, D&B with curves adjustment.

Patch tool and some cloning could do wonders and quickly .

The cloning tool can be adjusted for lighten and darken modes with various opacities to smooth out folds and wrinkles in fabric. It takes a bit of experimenting and is almost like needlepoint.

Chillin did a great job... You can also select, feather, copy and paste a similar area and mask out undesired parts.
