Re: Little gift for all of you guys Diego, Thanks for the play! Pretty lady and a nice shot! Thought I would try your high res RAW file instead of the snapshots that I am used to working on.. The leaning buildings gave me a headache.. hope you don't mind the background change.

Re: Little gift for all of you guys Something like this? A very quick try, so the edges are not perfect and blending could be better. Made a duplicate layer and smoothed out the whole thing using surface blend. Converted the layer the black and white, applied a black mask and painted in white with a soft brush in the shadow areas. You now have an image with the the shadow areas under the jaw and chin smooth and in black and white. Create a blank layer, change to colour mode, pick a sample colour from her face and paint with a soft brush over the shadow areas, a little gaussian blur, adjust opacity to taste. I only noticed the corners of the eyes after I had finished, so I cheated and painted them over with blue sampled from a nearby area. Just noticed that I missed a bit beside her bracelet :-) Last edited by Verywierd; 10-10-2008 at 12:49 PM. Reason: Additional comment

Re: Little gift for all of you guys This is my attempt. I feel I may have made her skin to reddy/orange like a tan. What do you think?
