multiple retouching but on a small scale

Hi...is it possible to take 5 photos at a time and lighten them all at once?
Say..if they were shot a stop up or down and just needed that little bit of tweaking.
I have PSE6.0 as well as Photoshop 7.0
Thanks..
Judy

Re: multiple retouching but on a small scale

You could create an action in PS7 to make the adjustment and then run Automate>Batch to perform the changes on a folder that has those images in it. The batch processing would still be done sequentially but very quickly. There is no way of opening 5 images and performing the same adjustment on all simultaneously because PS or other applications can only work on one document at a time.

Unless they're all in Camera Raw.

if you use Adobe Bridge you can set one of the tools for batch operations as well,
you select all images you want to work on and apply the image processor,
from there you will have plenty of options including open the first on to set the values in camera raw.
You can choose what kind of file you want to save the modified pics and even run a previously created set of action within PS.

It is a great tool!

If the adjustments are fairly basic, Irfanview (freeware) can do batch adjustments.
