Re: how was the sky in this photo photoshopped

Just curious why you started another thread asking the same question with the same samples.. what answer, that was not in the other thread, are you looking for?

Why do you think it is Photoshopped?

Before the advent of Photoshop we used things like polarized filters, light meters, adjusted the F-stop and shutter speed in order to capture scenes like that in camera... (Zone System sound familiar?)... HDRI would prolly get those results

On Flickr you can comment under the picture and can ask questions of the Photographer directly eliminating all the guessing as to how someone else did something.. heck it might just be a couple separate shots put together... who knows for sure?..

Do you have a picture in mind that you want to embellish with those results? If so, then post it here and we can work on it and provide you with the solutions toward attaining that effect.

Attaching Files or Images to Threads or Posts

Size and quality for Attached Images!!

After you post your less than 100K version here, you could also post a larger version at ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) or pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) or photobucket.com (1 Meg max free,... 5 Meg PRO) or flickr.com (5Meg free) -- then post a link here in this thread to the site that is hosting your larger version.

BTW... SEE post #19 your other thread
