How to achieve this look

Wondering if anyone has a theory on how to retouch photos this way. Seems like low contrast/ sharpening/ color tinting, tried but cant seem to get it right. He´s got some different stuff on there but the general look.

Great photography too: http://www.carlosserrao.com/

Have a good one / B

Re: How to achive this look

Looks to me like they just desaturated the image to get the colour where he wanted it. Maybe with a colour overlay to even out the tone of the whole piece. Hmmm I don't do this kind of stuff myself but it's too bad we don't have the original to fool with.

Funnily we just did a retouch job for him. I can't post the images (yet) but I'll post a screengrab or 2 of the layer stack from the file tomorrow (files are offline atm)

Re: How to achive this look

hmmm which look are you actually going for? His site has loads of photos and many are done different ways. Do you have a link to a specific photo with the look you want? (the one on the homepage changes all the time.)
