Hello, I've seen how to make chromed skin but I was wondering how to make silver skin and objects like this?

Silver isn't silver, it's really black & white. Occasionally, you'll see a little blue cast. It's really the background that helps it stand out and look silver.

Examine the hand and strawberry in what ever software you have. The RGB values are essentially equal, indicating b&w. The contrast in any b&w can be enhanced a bit to make the effect stand out more also.

Yes, it definately looks like B&W with D&B to add depth.
