Re: help me with double chin Hello liverpool, Look at my fix of your photo here: http://tinyurl.com/64zav I put the basic method in the caption of the photo. Basic: Photoshop CS3 - select soft brush of suitable diameter (I used ~65 pixel width) and hit the "Q" key - make this a quick-mask brush. Selected the dark neck area - full width of neck, then selected "Inverse" to isolate just that area of neck. Next: Used Healing Brush to blend (with downward zig-zag strokes across the neck) skin from that narrow light band down onto the dark, bearded area. Also - used Dodge Tool set at 9% to slightly lighten and blend that dark area. Used Dodge a bit more to give the neck an adam's apple. Next: Deselected the neck and then hit "Q" again to use the brush as quick-mask again. Covered the entire face with Mask. Repeat: hit Q yet again, then "Inverse" after hiding mask. Only - used a much wider brush (~ 100 pixels) to mask / select face. With entire face selected: Used Hue / Saturation to change both Red and Magenta channels to slightly more "Green" (about 4%). Then moved the Saturation Slider to minus 30. Done! Note: It would also then be necessary to use the Hue/Saturation sliders on your arm and hand - to match face. I learned this trick because my Mac Leod ancestors left me with a very ruddy complexion - I'm "bright red" in most photos. :-)

Re: help me with double chin I think that to change the chin alone would not work, no matter how well its done, as the shape of your face blends into the chin. TBH a double chin is a feature not a blemish, so ignore it and instead work on fixing the image color and contrast

Re: help me with double chin Thought I’d try my hand in this. It was interesting. Started out with a curves layer to set the correct white and blacks. Then, used the liquify tool to shrink things up. Then some patch tool to clean up the lines. After that, I did a lot of D&B, smoothing, and color tweaks. -------------------------------------------------------------- On a personal note. This girl likes you for who you are. Not for what you look like in Photoshop. A more realistic picture with some minor shrinking may be more memorable. She wants to remember you for who you are, what you look like. So I included that one too. You decide. Or let her decide…you may be surprised. As I too have had a long distance relationship. A suggestion: give her some of your most used (daily) cologne/body spray to take with her (she can spary a pillow with it, it is like your there). Just one more thing to remember you by. -------------------------------------------------------------- Photos: No chin>>>>> light shrinking>>>>> Original W/color ed Good luck (hope this helps), -Keven
