Make Your Christmas Pictures Glow

I developed this a while back... and decided that I would share with everyone. This action will make anything glow, but found that it works amazingly well on lights. So Christmas time came to mind.

Here is a breakdown of the action, if it just so happens on your version of PS does not support the action.

Make folder with mask>>> make new layer in folder>>> copy merge (Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E)>>> Gaussian Blur @27 pixels, Screen (blending mode) >>> Make adjustment layer: Exposure @ 0.00, -0.0131, 0.80

Feel free to use the actions, just fallow the about rules...They should work with CS3/4.

Another thing you can do is to mask the subject(s) out, and glow everything around it, like the picture below. The subjects were left sharp, and the background with the lights were glowed.
