Please help with photoshop Action I basically have an image which has a small logo icon that i would like to add to about 300 photos. I managed to record an action that basically just opens each file and pastes the logo into the fie and saves it. (i have to copy the logo into the clipboard before i run the action). Now the problem i have is that i would like the logo to be placed at the bottom right of every image. I tried to record this by moving the pasted logo to the bottom right of the photo but it doesnt appear in all photos. The reason it doesnt work is that the images are different sizes. some are 800x600 some are 1600x800 some are 300x100 etc. It appears that when i re-run the action the logo is only visible on photos that are of the same size as the file i used to record the action. Is there a way i can ensure the logo stays at a specific pixel starting from the edge of the photo regardless of the resolution of the file where it is being pasted in? For example, i would like to move the logo to position 5pixels horizontally and 5 pixels vertically from the bottom of the right of the image. is this possible using an Action? Thanks

Re: Please help with photoshop Action Just make sure your logo has some white space at the right and bottom side (the amount of pixels you want) and record an action where you paste the logo, link it with the background, select the layer menu at the top, then choose align and align to the bottom and right edge. Make sure to use the layer menu, and not the icons you see when using the move around-arrow tool thingie (that did not work in my CS2 version).

Re: Please help with photoshop Action I just wanted to tallk about the fact that you must have the image on the clipboard. What you want to do is open a image that you want to practice the action on. Start a new action or re-record this part. You can click and drag the action parts to re-arrange Click record>>>>> File>>open the file you need>> select>all >> copy>> close the logo window>> >>>>>Click stop The rest of your action should cover the rest. This should copy the logo for you instead of you haveing to do it before hand. Hope this helps, -Keven Last edited by igot2pman; 12-15-2008 at 07:23 PM.
