Newbie to all areas

Hi,I couldn't find a last posted date so I'm starting a new thread.Hope I'm not out of order please forgive because I don't know what I'm doing.I need help with a photo of my daughters mother-n-law.Gift for the father-n-law to remind him of a time long past.I have PaintShopPro Photo X2 just learning keeping it simple.Would like to build to of head so it does't look chopped off,color adjustment,resize ect.How can I upload pic.original and worked on? Any assist appreciated.Thanx Sharon McD
