Re: what kind of blur is this?

It's quite impossible to say my friend. Try with surface blur and mask it out with a 5% brush

Since it was professionally done, it was most likely Filter > Blur > Lens Blur.

Re: what kind of blur is this?

Hi to everyone....
First of all let me introduce my self... This is Koray... I am a fashion photographer....
And to your question.... There is no blur.... never... ever... For best results.... Thin layer of make up.... of course a model with good skin and stamper tool ( never use healing brush.... makes you loose the skin texture... And for a good photo you are in-need of skin imperfections other wise if you make it prefect then it is not real... Try to focus on your photography (styling, light, colors, cinematography; rather than improving your retouching skills.. Less photoshop better pictures....
