Unhappy Yay I got a Tablet! But... What next?

As you can see in thread I got a tablet few days ago. I was playing with it a lil bit but I want to learn how to use it propely at last.

I have problems with pressure. Every time when I want to set 'pen pressure' in brushes options , the small gray triangle with "!" inside apprears. I have my tablet installed well, so I dont have any idea what's the problem :<

Next thing is D&B. I know basics etc but I want to know if tablet is really so helpful in this technique.

Thanks in advice,
Ayu.

a tablet makes d&b so much easier compared to a mouse...

Ayumi-
I tried to duplicate your tablet problem, and noticed the warning triangle appeared when I tried to select "stylus wheel", which I don't have installed. So, I think your tablet may really not be installed properly. Check that the tablet settings exist in the system prefs window, then open it and go through the settings- make sure "all" is selected under the applications tab.

Re: Yay I got a Tablet! But... What next?

bought a wacom bamboo a couple of weeks ago, had a similar problem but as people have pointed out it wasn't installed correctly. I had just plugged it in and then vista installed some generic driver, so my advice is to sit down, read the manual and install it according to instructions and only with the disc and drivers that come with the tablet.

Before saying that I am treating you like you're ignorant let me just say that I made the same mistakes initially... umm but then I am ignorant... ok sorry. oh and by the way, really listen to the warning not to have stuff running while you do it. That gave me some trouble too. had to shut down Photoshop™ and then reboot my laptop before I got stuff to work properly.

When you've got it installed check out this page
