Closed Eyes in my photo, need expert help please.

Hello, I do not have much experience editing photos. It is very important that I fix a photo. I need to fix a picture of myself with Italian basketball star Andrea Bargnani but my eyes are closed partially. I was hoping someone would be able to help me fix this problem. I will attach it. just use a liqufy tool with small brush pressure - it's really easy.

Michael, welcome to Retouch Pro. Your best results would be achieved if your eyes were copied from another photo of you with your eyes open, and masked off on top of this image. Ideally it should be a photo taken with the same or similar lighting conditions.
2nd choice would be to give you someone else's eyes.
I do not think that the liquify tool will produce satisfactory results.

It's not like his eyes are fully closed that he needs to replace them. I don't know where on this image Michael is but non of the people have closed eyes.
If Michael could post bigger resolution image I can show the result you can achieve with liquify tool

I am in the white sweater. You are correct, my eyes are half open. I am only allowed to post up to 100kb, photos. Thanks for the suggestions and any further help is appreciated.

What retouching software do you have? This will help focus the tips to the programs you have available to work with.

After you post your less than 100K version here, you could also post a link to the site that is hosting a larger version Use one of your own or any of these other free host options:
ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) or pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) or photobucket.com (1 Meg max free,... 5 Meg PRO)-- .Flickr.com (5Meg max free.. BUT they resize to 1024 long side if you don't pay)

Thanks for the welcome, I have photoshop elements 6.0 You did a fantastic job, and the eyes look like they belong to me. I now know, I can post larger pictures too, but i think this looks good enough. I appreciate it. Happy editing.
