favourite retouch technique.

which is yours?

since joining this forum i have come across three favourites in particular


white silver greyish method

i love muted colors style...like Annie Leibovitz, Joey Lawrence, etc.
i love Amy Dresser style...
i love Loretta Lux style...
still working for my own style..

I'm still trying to find my 'voice' in Photoshop but the Quick and Beautiful technique from DGrin is probably my favorite.

But I also learned an awful lot from the Stuff You can Do With Clouds thread.

You need a vision ( able to see it in your head ) and time to practice, or hope for a lucky accident =) ( thats where many good things happen ).

but isnt threre already a very high possibility that someone else has had the same 'vision' ? i could make a couple of adjustment layers and stuff, and develop my own style, but then someone else could turn around and say, you copied this from me.. blash blah blah

So you dont want to develop your own style because you can be accused of stealing it ?

As there are more people than styles its only natural that many people will develop similar styles.
