Our Kid

Hi guys,

Just thought i'd share my forthcoming blog post with you before it get's published.

The phrase "Our Kid" is a slang term used in the northwest of England to describe a sibling.

In this case I have used it to describe my older brother. This is one of two shots, the second is yet to be processed:

Incidentally, for those of you who are interested, the image was lit using a strobe fired through a softbox above camera right, with the right hand side of the subject being lit by a window.

Matt, that is a nice shot, but hard to say anything about the processing without comparison to original.

I like the overall concept and approach. The D&B contour is good, might (subjective) be a little overdone in the hand (back of palm). Main thing I would change is the cuticles (hanging skin behind the finger nail), I would remove them. There are some other small things, but nothing that says this shouldnt be there.

Can you go a bit into how you achieved your look?
