save it how?...install perian and use mpegstreamclip to convert to a different format...

rar cannot be opened by Mac as far as I know.

As mentioned before in this particular tutorial, the skin ends up having a sort of blur look since the D&B was very in depth.

Obviously that is a result of the retoucher, but is it somewhat an issue with the tools layers she is using to reveal contrast?

I guess I'm saying should I use the Tool layers like she is using, or a curves layer with an S curve, and a hue/saturation layer with the saturation taken out.

I like the skin to come out real smooth after some hours of D&B, but I do not want it to look flat.

the tools are not the thing that would make the retouched image look flat - its only the D&Bing.

Alrighty and is there a reason Nienna, that you use the Tools method rather then a curves and saturation adjustment layer?

Yes, and it is quite a simple one - I didnt know of the adjustment layers at the time ^^ .
