Need help removing shadow from face!

Ive been trying to remove this shadow from this girl's face forever but im having alot of trouble. im not a photoshop wizard or anything so id appreciate the help guys!

What retouching software do you have? This will help focus the tips to the programs you have available to work with.

The picture was only taken Jan 28.. so 4-ever must have a different meaning to you than me!

I would re-shoot the picture. It is blury.

Yes, it is blurry, but still a nice shot. Maybe worth the effort. I did this in Photoshop Elements 7. Plenty of Hue/Sat adjustments, some PWL and some painting with color.

I too a try at your image. Tried to do a little with the blur problem and removing the shadow. I use Photoshop CS4 and the Dodge and Burn tool in this new edition is able to preserve skin tone. I also did a layers adjustment and made a correction in Shadows/highlights. A little cloning and patch tool. I also use a 3rd party filter for the focus and skin smoothing. Not perfect, but improved.
