Lightroom 2 Presets for B&W Toning

I created my first set of Lightroom presets.

These are Develop module presets that make a basic grayscale conversion and then apply a light to moderate tone. These tone are designed to simulate the same effect as my TLR B&W Toning action set for Photoshop.

These work with Lightroom 2. They use the Split Tone feature. There are 30 presets in the collection including solid colors, multi-tones, and classic chemical darkroom tones like platinum, palladium, selenium, etc.

I'll be working on Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) presets soon!

Forthcoming Lightroom 2 presets include color split tones and cross-processing effects.

Cheers,

Mitch

Wonderful — also checked out your PS action set and find your variety well chosen. Platinum, selenium and your sepia 2 have long been favorites of mine.

Re: Lightroom 2 Presets for B&W Toning

Super, I always like to hear that people find my actions and scripts (and now presets) to be helpful!

I am hoping I can get the ACR presets for B&W toning finished tonight or tomorrow. It would be nice if ACR and LR used the same format for their presets. It would also be nice if ACR presets supported folders to keep them organized. Two issues I need to whisper in John Nack's ear.

Cheers,

Mitch
