Re: Black Eye removal Bad lighting and white bal.... Color corrected with color bal, and fixed shadows and redness with hue/sat. Then brightened and pained to even BG. Lastly D&B to even, and painted over the minor discolorations with color blening mode. Below is what I came up with and its layers screen shoot. Hope it helps, -Keven Last edited by igot2pman; 02-15-2009 at 01:38 PM.

Re: Black Eye removal Joe, very nice model to experiment with... very pretty! It would be nice if you did not use external links as the only source for images, externally linked images should only be made available as a backup for attached images or offering a source for a higher resolution image. By attaching the image to the post it will be viewable forever. The following links may help! Attaching Files or Images to Threads or Posts Size and quality for Attached Images! After you post your less than 100K version here, you could also post a link to the site that is hosting a larger version as you did! I did a levels first to find the image then cloned from the cheek over the dark eye lids and faded each pass till it looked OK to me then brightened the eyes some and the teeth also (hue/sat took the red and yellow out of the teeth) (dodge N burn tool on the eyes) healed a few spots Used Neat Image on some selected and feathered areas of the chest and face to even some tones out cloned and healed the blouse for wrinkle control then selected the blouse and ran Neat Image on it also Painted the lips black on a new Softlight layer and reduced opacity about 2/3rds Cleaned the background and added some slight film grain to the skin areas

Re: Black Eye removal WOW! Thank you all for your input. I must say that I am amazed buy some of the responses. And yes my missus is a very pretty lady! Thank you to Igot2pman for the screen shot, that really helps a newbie like me to understand a bit more of the process. 0lBaldy, youve gone past what I would have even thought of doing. I thank you for making me think more about the clothes and the background. Could you possibly post a screen shot of the layers you used so I could get a better idea. And appologies for posting from the outside link, I will do better next time. Thanks for all your input!

Re: Black Eye removal LOL.. not much to see! I did almost everything on one layer because it was a quickie, one shot affair and I was not going to save as a PSD or TIFF to come back to later. I was just going to give you a narrative and didn't think anyone else was going to be using the picture.. I usually delete these after I do them, but hadn't got around to it yet! But, seeing as you ask... here it is for all it is worth.
