| dynamic lighting and sharpening Hello, I have attached a retouch example that you may have seen before. This image displays a couple of techniques which are very common in the industry at them moment. The after image (on the right) has got fantastic sharpness in areas like the beard and especially the hair without compromising nutrality, I can get close to this with High pass filter but still not the same. Also the wrist of the hand has much improved detail. Overall the image has really good dynamic lighting, giving that shimmering range on the tie, hair, face....everywhere really. The whole image looks as though it could have been shot on a Phase One. Is this a composite of three level adjusted images merged to HDR or a range of other techniques? These exact techniques (dynamic lighting and sharpening) I am not to familiar with and would really appreciate either some comments on how to achieve them or some links for step by step processes on specific examples. Thanks |

| Re: dynamic lighting and sharpening Photoshop or lightroom It is by the retouching or workflow, i saw some websites where you can turn normal shots mostly to this style of popping details as it was taking by medium format or using HDR. Try using Grunge or Draganize techniques. |
