Any idea on this retouching technique

So ive seen a tutorial on this b4 but i cant find it on here....anyone know how to do this with photoshop and not with the beautydish?

Not sure but you may be looking for this thread.

The effect is done with studio strobes at dusk (hence the cooler tone). Then, desat and lots of D&B.

But you could fake the effect if your image has enough dinamic range to D&B your way to it. Its a lot easyer if you just use the light. But i am thinking that the picture is already taken.
