| Re: How to retain skin texture when down-rezzing? It's hard to do this really- think about it. At full resolution you see all the tiny detail. Then you *downsize* it, (significantly if it's for web) and you still want to see the tiny little details? That's tough- you can try the sharpening best for reduction like L33t suggsets, but I find this leads to overly sharp images, especially on edges. Try a light sharpening mask on the skin once you downsize, or- oversharpen the full size a little bit so that when you downsize, it keeps a little more 'texture'. dennison www.dennisonbertram.com |
