| Match color Hello Folks I'm looking for the right process to match colors in a bunch of pictures. I hardly tried with 'image adjustment>color match' but I didn't reach the score. Please look at those two pictures: could you tell me which is the best way to get the result I'm looking for? I have to say that that day clouds and sun where alternating each other every two minutes, may be the pictures are just like they are and I can't go longer...Thanks. |

| Hi jarulex, best i could come up with are these, the colour matches a little more, i think if you use a grey card for white balance and take your images in raw format, you can fix this before you get to CS3, regards Gary... I took them into "match colour" using one as source then colour balance and finally tweaked it in selective colour. |

| Re: Match color There is normally not a great automated process for matching color. You have to do it by eye, or by numbers. The eye dropper and values from it would be useful here. Selective color black, white, and neutrals i think would be the easiest. But other then that, have fun editing... -Keven |

So you have only the changes by change in lightning, not changes caused by the AWB . If you shot RAW and used AWB, you can select a larger number of RAW files in Adobe Camera Raw or other Software and set all pictures to the same colourtemperature and tint first (So you start from the best possible point) Then in the next step adjust each single picture by eye. Later in Photoshop you could use one (the closest) picture as reference. Then compare similar areas like skin, sky, sand etc and watch the numbers... Then use levels, curves etc Last edited by girlsfather; 03-24-2009 at 01:22 PM. Reason: wrong spelling |
