White Skin

Hey Everybody... I new here, so if this has been asked/answered before please point me in the right direction.

Ok here its goes, I went through some of the other posts on creating white skin and did some of the tutorials given and I am still having trouble archiving something close to this effect http://www.silent-view.com

Any suggestions where to find some good tutorials?

Re: White Skin

Welcome to the forum.

Well what pops into my mind is playing with the channel mixer in photoshop, check grayscale box, put the green and the blue channel in 0 and the red channel in 100%, mask the layer paint over the spots you want to look like that and then lower the opacity so some color pushes through.

Re: White Skin

I am not working with models and i wish to do, but i think it is starting with Make-up, white make up will make it so easy to gt that effect of white skin.
Then lighting, then Photoshop.

Re: White Skin

I have a pretty good MUA and my faces are white enough without looking like a clown, it's that grayish/white, but not desaturated look, that I can't put my finger on. But thanks anyways.

Re: White Skin

Then it will be not much difficult, post one of the photo that you want to try with and let's try something, i thought you didn't get tat white skin by MU, so if you did already then i don't think you should have a big problem or difficult to get that effect, just i believe that if i see one result online that's mean it is not impossible to do it again and again, but how so here we try to get the answer.

Re: White Skin

As i said before, the MU can help a lot, and your shot are either you didn't use white make-up and/or it is not white enough or the lighting didn't show the white skin, that's why again i said you should apply that pure white MU on the skin then you can see the results.

Here is an attempt on one of your shots, but not good job overall, maybe can get white skin but then we will destroy another details, and i don't know how to work with selections and brushes yet.
