Tattoo removal I have been asked by a friend at work to "Photoshop" a picture for a publicity shot he took for an entertainment business he is starting. What it amounts to is a very large tattoo covering 3/4 of a young ladies butt cheek that he wants me to remove from the picture. Can anyone point me to an example or tutorial? I'm just getting started with Photoshop and have so far done some OK work, but this is a bit beyond me. I've tried using the clone tool but the results look similar to fish scales... Len

Re: Tattoo removal I like to use the healing and clone tools to do the bulk of the work - but often this causes some loss of texture - so I use the patch tool when finished to restore some of the texture from other parts of the un-retouched skin.

Re: Tattoo removal Can you "turn the other cheek?" Copy, paste, flip part of the other side?

Re: Tattoo removal simple fix would be to find another butt cheek and just replace it... I seem to have seen some by accident on Google!

Re: Tattoo removal OK... I've removed the tattoo, took an hour with the clone tool on its own layer. Can't tell there was a tattoo, but it still doesn't look quite right. Now I'm trying to use the blur tool to smoothe the skin and I can't get it to have any effect on the image. I created another layer first, and after I use the blur tool it only shows on the layer pallet. I've checked "Sample All Layers"... what am I missing?
