Rejuvenation and normal skin retouch

Ok, I "maned up" and decided to post some of my work for you guys to see.

One is a rejuvenation skin retouch, and the other is normal skin retouch.

A bit about each file.

Ok this is the first photo I've retouched where I used D&B as the principal technique. Because of the rejuvenation this was a bit hard to judge what parts I would actually retouch and what parts to leave as is.

This is a photo I took last week where I'm experimenting with clam shell lighting in order to produce beauty style images. Although I stopped work on 2 things:

1 The elimination of the goose bumps on the arm in the left side of the photo
2 The cloning out of the hairs.

Regarding those two things every time I see them I cringe and makes me retouch a bit off and then stop all together because I feel overwhelmed.

Nice stuff

i myself wouldn't leave the texture so pronounced in the highlights (talking about Asia example). Everything else upon a quick glance looks really good.

Javier, nice work. I think the new jenn's left hand looked too 'flat' comparing to the original.

Nice work, great, in fact. I don't find the goosebumps that pronounced or distracting but you could try this - make a duplicate layer and apply a high pass filter set to around 6 pixels and apply. Change the blending mode to soft light and then invert the layer. Add a black layer mask and paint in the areas you want to affect with a 100% white brush. Scale back the opacity of the layer as needed.

Thanx for the tip, I normally use the degrunge technique, but I wanted to do D&B exclusively in those two, so no degrunge... that's why I was complaining. LOL

Yeah I still need some work on re-applying shadows and highlights.
