Critique, comments & advice on my retouch

Photograp taken and retouched by me.

My work flow:

Blemish removal using spot healing and patch tool.
Removed veins from eyes and brightened using screen on duplicate layer.
D&B skin using two curves adjustment layers with two dup layers above filled in black set to overlay & colour (to see dark spots easier).
Added colour overlay set to hue to even out skin colour and tone.
Colour balance and curves adjustment.
USM on red channel.

Please critique as I want to improve my skills and would like to know where i have gone wrong, where i could improve or what i have done well.

thanks in advance.

Re: Critique, comments & advice on my retouch

morpheus, I usually do not critique as there are so many pros around here who do retouching for a living and surely are of better help, but look at the area where you cloned out the hairs between the chains, it shows trails of cloning/healing....

morpheus,
I'd bring out the hair and iris color, and D&B the lip a little bit to make smoother lips.
It's a personal preference anyway, but I always love strong iris color.

I think you have retained most of her facial features and skin texture in a good way. Personally I´m not to keen about her overly white eyeballs though. But since I´m no fashion retoucher this might very well be a wanted result(?). I agree about the color of her iris. You could saturate them a lot - or make the rest of the face/image more in tune with the slightly grey metallic feel of the iris.
