| Hello all i am new at this site, and new at Photoshop CS4, so i hope that you can help me. I have promissed to help a friend with editing some pictures belts, shoes and other stuff, but i have that problem that there are shadows on the picture, i have attacht a picture so i hope that you can help me. |

| Re: Shadows okay, the issue is that under the belt there are some really irritating shadows, the picture that i want is only the belt nothing else, i tried to paint it over but i wondered if there is a better and faster way to do it?? |

| Re: Shadows Try the magnetic lasso. This should be pretty easy considering that the belt has such a well-defined edge. Also, the shadow is pretty light, so maybe even the curves tool could work. (Haven't tried it, but should be very easy, as well.) |

| Re: Shadows Using the Pen Tool I selected the shadow and then cloned in the background. Could have been a little more careful with my selection. |
