Removing wrinkles from a dress

Hi All, first post here. I'm attempting to retouch wrinkles in the clothing. Unfortunately we lost our stylist a day before the shoot to a bad back and the clothing arrived wrinkled. We had a steamer but in all the hustle and bustle, we forgot about steaming this dress. I hadn't noticed the wrinkles this bad during the shoot until looking at the photos, especially the lower area. I searched through the forums and tried the degrunge method but I'm not getting good results. I'm hoping if anybody else can get better results and avoid cloning or patching. I can also put up a link to a larger and higher resolution of the image. thx!!

Mask it off and maybe try playing around with smart blur. Then add back a little noise.

I used "leuallen's" Configurator panel for retouching (CS4 only), its a D&B 2 curves method with a bit of sat addition. But any D&B method would do it.

Here's a quick result done by blurring a layer, masking it and selectively painting back black/white over the mask to remove the wrinkles. the more painstaking you are, the better will be the result. You can vary the brush, the opacity and the brush mode to achieve your desired end product.

thx all, I'm going to give chillin's suggestion a try. I'm not too crazy about blurring. I found this thread which I was trying also but my images didn't come out right. Not sure if anyone wants to give it a try also.
