Help me look thinner

Hi all!
I've been having trouble in attempting to smooth out my double chin and make my face and arm look thinner. I've dabbled in Photoshop, but am not even close to what I want it to look like. I would be so grateful if you helped provide me with a new and improved look! PS. I'm the gal on the right :-)

Re: Help me look thinner

HI Natalie
I used the liquify filter on the arm - simple do to on the small size file. I use a small brush size and small strokes.
The double chin I used a dodge and burn technique, where you get a new layer edit/fill/50% gray then set the layer blend mode to soft light, use a soft brush set to a very low opacity with the dodge (to lighten) and burn (to darken) tools.
I hope that helps.

Re: Help me look thinner

combo of D&B to reduce the D chin, then a slow liquify to thin everything out.

Hope it helps,

Re: Help me look thinner

Does it really need changing?

Liquify on arm, some cloning and smudge on face. Minor.

Re: Help me look thinner

Thought I would give it a try. The techniques used similar to what has been stated.
