Facial Contouring Guides?

I've been searching for advanced info on facial contouring & modeling but to no avail so far.
just basically for an accurate map for d&b'ing , also if any custom brushes exist for the different areas to get consistent results etc?

Any suggestions etc re. this would be greatly appreciated...

Cheers , Mark

The tutorial was so good as her sexy voice... Females should do more tutorials to catch the student attention XD

Re: Facial Contouring Guides?

I've seen that image before , even have the book it's from & it's a helpful starting point... but I thought there would be more on this subject available as it's something that separates decent retouching from top level

basically there's a huge variety of subtely differing facial shapes not to mention the varying profile angles etc & although I get the basic concept of light direction affecting the appearance of a sphere etc & can usually have a go at figuring the contouring out myself but it would definately help to find more source info about it...

YEah, the same pic was used by Chirs Orwig. I have watched the video from lynda.com but pesonally, I found the one from sexy voice much more well done. In fact, Chris Orwig didn't do a good job when reshaping the face of the fake blond. It is much better those 4 or 5 tutorials from the girl than all the DVD's I have seen so far.

Re: Facial Contouring Guides?

Makeup books would be easier to find on this than retouching books.

Re: Facial Contouring Guides?

Any you recommend? I've been interested in this as well. Since at the moment I don't work with a MUA just basic makeup applied by the models themselves

Re: Facial Contouring Guides?

You could do a screen grab of it during the tutorial.
