How to make one person slimmer in group photo

I have a friends photo (not this one, this is just an example) where one person in a group photo wants a slimmer tummy, side etc.

Just wondering the best way to do it without affecting the other people in photo?

If you have Photoshop CS4 there is a new operation Edit>Content Aware Scale. I used it to thin out the woman in the red top. It took 10 seconds. Slimmed image attached.
If you do not have image editing s/w with an equivalent to Content Aware Scaling, you will need to get creative and plan on more work, using other transform tools like Warp or Liquify. Or you may need to select and transform and fill in missing background by cloning or patching, etc. Every image will be different depending on the subject and background.

That's a job for Photoshop's liquify tool.

That totally depends on that particular photo: if the person to be 'adjusted' (partly) covers another person, that other person may/will be distorted too.

If you post a link to the photo you're talking about (an attachment is faaar too small) we can have a go at it, see what the (im)possibilities are, and show you.

I do have CS4 with the Content Scale. I gave it a try without using the tool. On this I selected the gal with the red and jumped her to her own layer and then scaled her down. Cloned in the rest.
