| handle the colors. i'm trying day after day to get a really clean look on my own pictures. of course i won't take pictures in a way who doesnt let any perspective for the color correction. if i want bright, clean pictures with evened tones, i won't shoot underexposate etc. the thing is i'm really looking forward to getting closer and closer to that kind of 'rendus' or 'look' if you want so. defo, lightning is huge part and all, but this is not the point, i'm really not talking about the photography part here, but really about postproduction. basically i'm lookin on how can i manage colors in some really sharp/precise ways. right now i'm using curves, colors layers & h/s. but i need to push further. i really need to level up over there. here are some examples: http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp01.jpg http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp02.jpg http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp03.jpg http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp04.jpg http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp05.jpg http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp06.jpg http://users.skynet.be/gee/rp07.jpg and here are what i've done recently who goes the much closer to that kind of tones. at least as i could. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gkayacan/3515803366/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/gkayacan/3520013332/ the thing is i need to be able to handle the tones like that. basically it's not colorful, it's like grey with a small color in it. and i dunno, i never have been lookin that much into the levels, but can we 'limit' the colors in their saturation and keep them on the left side of the screen (where u click on your color, from black at the bottom to white above, to desat at left to sat at right) to keep them like 'grey with some color' .. well that's it. |

| Re: handle the colors. Anyone bothered by the shadows on rp03? Slightly off center on the bed from the IV stand, to the right on the hand on the bed, none from the body? Also the highlight on the right side of right leg should show up really strong on the right of the IV stand. |
