Band aid removal on face

I had to remove a band aid from the nose of a graduate. Please tell me if I've done a good job, or what I need to do improve it. This is for a client, so I have to be done in a couple of days. Thanks for your help!

Lol, what a strange one!

I think you've done a pretty good job, there's a couple of areas above the tip of the nose that look a bit green. Try using an adjustment layer (solid red or use curves) and lightly brush the green away and you should be fine.

It's pretty funny, but it's work. Mom was not pleased -- business degree with a band aid! I'll work on the green. Thanks!

Okay, I think I got rid of the green and worked on the nose shape a little more. Better?

Looked at it for a couple days to figure out what was wrong. Realized that I hadn't put the shine back on the tip of his nose. Added a little noise to the section I had worked on, and it looked great. Mom was very pleased!

Good job.

The way I would've done it, would be to use the band-aid as skin. Sounds weird, but it's pretty close to the skin tone. AND, he's got it on there so tight, it's forming to the shape of his nose. Basically, all you had to do was blend the edges of the band aid with your healing brush & clone tool, then do some really minor adjustments to the color, using some quick masking & curves.

But I tend to go the long way a lot, too. haha.

Keep up!
