Hi again Dang,

Here is a quick version. I hope it is what you are leaning towards.

I'm an old man and can't keep up with these young ones, zipping around me at the speed of light. My attempt may be or seem unorthodox but I got there I think.
All I did was add a layer filled with white beneath the original layer. I played with the opacity of the original layer til I got what I wanted. I think it was about 70% opacity. I then flattened the image and using curves and/or levels added and subtracted colors.

My first post here.
I give your picture a glow.
If you like it I can tell you how I did it.
But perhaps this is not what you looking for.

No orton.
red channel, select all, copy, layer, paste on blank layer, blend on luminosity, opac. 30,
blur 25, curves layer, medium, then with brush lips and nose, eys whatever.

Most of the time, I like to start looking at a histogram.
I think recreating it would take me half way "there"

Hi all,

Indeed.. the photo looks a little overexposed.

This is the way i correct this kind of problem, in a simple way...

Duplicate the Image layer> Mode: Multiply.. slider towards... about...60/70/80 percent.. it depends.. and push up the Saturation via Image>Adjustments.

When it is needed... I bring in some soft highlights with the Eraser Tool, set with much transparancy,

This all happens in one Layer.. the Duplicate layer.

Succes

Maya
