Post Processing Lighting Help

Hello All,

This morning I was browsing through the Before/After section of the Calvin Hollywood site, there are two images which have the same post lighting feeling which I would like to try and learn.

If you follow this link, the first image is;

Row 1, Column 4 ~ Three Gentlemen Against Chain link
Row 3, Column 2 ~ Young Lady with Gold on Lips & Face

This post work, which seems to have blue kind of feel to it, also reminds me of another image I've seen on POTN ~ These links are to the Glamour & Nude section and contains Nudity;

If you're not a member you can see the image using the following link, image credits to POTN Member; flipstyle72

I am not that good with post production work, but would anyone know how this may be achieved in Photoshop or have a link to a tutorial or whatnot?

Thank You,

Jason

Welcome to RetouchPro, Dork. Why don't you drop a note to Calvin, he's a nice guy and will probably tell you how it was done himself. He's a member here as well, so you could browse the memberlist and drop him a personal note...

Re: Post Processing Lighting Help

Thank you for the welcome amica999, I've been lurking for a little while but thought it about time to post.

If Calvin is a member here then I may PM him, although I feel really cheeky just thinking about it for some reason.

Looking at the info in Photoshop it appears to be on the colder side of the channels, I suppose with this knowledge I could play about with curves, however if there was a plugin, filter or action then that would be ace - I think I'll keep playing.

Thank You,

Jason

Re: Post Processing Lighting Help

Jason, Calvin is a really helpful guy, I have seen him on a german forum offering late night phone support to someone trying to work out a special style. He does sell training DVD's, but I am not sure if they are already covering other languages than german. Meanwhile you may look here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Calvinhollywood

Here's one english tut he did sometime ago... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr12Z...layer_embedded
