Blank adjustment layers

I got this from the Katrin Eismann Tone, Exposure & Color Correction video.

Is your image too light? Make a new blank levels or curves adjustment layer, and set it to 'multiply' blend mode. Still too light? Duplicate the blank layer. Now a little dark? Turn down the opacity a bit. Plus you can still use the levels control, and even the built-in layer mask. And your original is never touched.

Is your image too dark? Do this exact technique, only with 'screen' blend mode.

The tips category was a great idea. Now I need to buy a biggerr hard drive to keep them in.
