Re: Official "The Look" Thread

Rough Cutting I know, I can't go back and redo it.. I wish i could, it was on location, and I didn't shoot this with a green screen or anything.. which I wish I did.. im ordering a green screen asap. Shes no actress, but she is one of my friends. She models for me a lot.

But thank you!
I'll post more soon.

You have come a long ass way man, this stuff is nice and sharp and clean.. I like it. The 2nd photo is hilarious.. he looks like he regrets getting married.

Very nice, care to tell me your sequence of photoshopping these? Or how you did them I guess. I am doing a couple shoots this week, I will post as soon as I finish them.

Yes I am a fan of your work Cyp! How are you liking that Flashden website? haha

Here is one from my shoot I did yesterday with some big hair. This one was actually a mess up, cause she was laughing, but I used it anyways cause its funny.

Im not a member at MM yet but saw this. Anyone care to give any suggestions as how to get this sort of skin smoothening?

Re: Official "The Look" Thread

Hi guys,

Thought i would share one of my recent images with you. Instead of going for the illustrated look, my personal style is more fine art.

Anyway, principles / techniques already discussed in this thread were used to produce this image:

Thanks man, its easy, I used my Ringlight, and two rim lights, left and right. I didn't have much room at all, I plan on re-shooting this stuff.

Post Processing is easy, I sharpen the image, do some skin smoothing, using skin softening techniques from all over, sometimes I use Imagenomic plugins, which i enjoy a lot. As for color, lately I have been doing a lot of cross processing to create soft, desaturated colored looks related to film types. More to come in the next week.
