Yeah, I saw his other fashion shots, really stunning... Don't know why the portraits look so bad... Really odd...

Right, anyone else has any idea how this mute yellow skin tone and superb tones all over the dress. Also very interesting shot is right the one on the left from this one. It might be all in lighting but I believe there is bit more.

Well it doesn't quite work on that asian girl image, but I tried. Get a nice balanced/smooth image, bleach it slightly (using your method of choice, I used 3 channel mixers) and then I just darkened it (curve), then hit it with a selective color in the neutrals (see screenshot) and then desaturated it slightly.

Would work better with a clean slightly darker image, but I'm sure this way you can get your desired look. Tweak that Selective color! you can get some great colors with that adjustment layer.

Do u have an image with a colorful dress? Maybe I can give u a PSD file - I think it's mostly about masking.

I should have a raw somewhere with that characteristics.

Started with shadow highlight (from godmother) for even shadow. desaturate. Then some D&B. Gave the darks a cool tone. Lastly, gave her the sepia color.

Hope it helps,
-Keven
