Question Coloring/ Tint help!

I need help. What is done to get the coloring of the attached photo? It looks just like a tint of some sort, and looks easily done, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Coloring/ Tint help!

Looks like a lens hood that vignetted the edges and a poorly exposed and age faded image.

Re: Coloring/ Tint help!

The photo was taken without a lens hood with a D700 last week. I know that the vignette was added afterwards. My concern is the coloring. The tint is my confusion.

Thanks.

I think you might be on to something with the cross processing... I guess I could make an action for it...

Re: Coloring/ Tint help!

Try this:
1. Add a Selective Color adjustment layer
2. In the "Colors" dialog box, choose Blacks
3. Pump up magenta to about +61%, bump down yellow to -25%.

You're basically adding magenta and taking away yellow from your blacks.

Looks like the Lomo effect to me. But it is probably a combo of both Lomo and Cross process.

Re: Coloring/ Tint help!

try this :
- reduce saturation @hue/sat adjustment around -30 to -40
- add SOLID COLOR layer adjustment #000333 change the blending mode to EXCLUSION then play with the opacity to your taste.
