Re: Request: Asian Model Skin Tan

look very glamour. air brush and blur might work. I think it's possible. here's another attempt (no blur).

I second Mr Monday.......
We need to see where we are (dark color) before we can go where you want (light color)

Yes I agree...

Eswiig.. post one of the darkest girl pictures you want to have white/bright skin tones.. The samples you provided @ post #10 are fine for the skin but the clothing is also blown out..
I am sure that if you provide an image that needs to be modified to have white/bright skin we can show you how to do a much better job than those samples and be more in line with the ones you provided in your 1st Post

I think we get the idea of what you want...BUT... a sample of an actual image you need to work on would help a lot!

One simple way is use a couple masked Screen Mode layers... depending on how dark the subject is

eswiig, Sorry I missed when you deleted the picture.. if you want this removed also just tell me... but it will not help others much if it is not here .. and.. this is a place for everyone to learn as they may have the same problems as you..

Your right about some extra steps... not many but a few...there are no one click solutions.. you will always have to refine the procedures..

One thing not on the workflow is a layer that I loosely selected the Iris of the eyes did a Ctrl+J to put them on their own layer sharpened some to make them bright.. dodged the highlights and burned the dark pupils... made a mask and painted black my mistakes from the selection then combined that layer back into the picture

Re: Request: Asian Model Skin Tan

I wouldn't do that... unless it was for a joke or parody, something like worth1000 or something like that... I've made models slightly darker (Teen mags, summer editions) and slightly lighter (Shinny effect) but to change someone's ethnic .... I don't think so.
