colorshades removal on skin
I'm retouching a picture that was taken outside in the nature, which have alot of highlights form the sun, but also some shades of other colors that have reflected on the skin. A problemarea is around the eyes and cheeks that got this blue'ish tone that really makes my b&d tricky (i use the b&d /w softlight tech).
I used the brush and colorpick of a good skintone to even the tone out, but im sure there are some better ways of doing this!
Whats your workflow or technique of balancing skintones?
(Sorry for bad english)
Re: colorshades removal on skin
It often makes sense to correct the color first and then adjust the tone (lightness). As for the tone, there are many other techniques more effective than D&B.
If you can attach a sample photo you are likely to get more specific advise from the members here.
