20+ years younger

Hello all
I was challenged by a friend to make a man younger using photoshop. I took the challenge and retouched the photo (linked below) and I need your comments. Should I stop there or can I do more?

Before and After

Thanks

A person's ears gets larger as they age. Most of this is from the lobes hanging more. His ears need to be made smaller.

Yeah, I was just about to mention make the ears and nose smaller. Eyes larger because eyes recede with age making them appear smaller, and generally bring saggy things back up. Nice work!

Re: 20+ years younger

Eye skin also sags with age, meaning his lower lid would be higher, covering more of his iris. The upper lid would also be higher, revealing more of his sclera. This isn't easy. You can't warp or liquify (without masking) because that will move his eyeball as well as the skin, and you only want to move the loose skin. I'd copy, paste, liquify, then mask each lid separately, then clone in the iris/sclera as needed. Anyone have a better way? Maybe I'll give it a try later.

Mouth could be slightly lifted (higher).Ears still need to shrink. Symmetry is lost as we age, so I'd straighten the mouth unless that's his expression.

If you want to make him younger still, darken his eyebrows and mustache.

I notice you improved his skin tone, looking very nice. The only problem lies in the fact that you removed the blue reflections from his face, but not from his lips.

Finally there's a flap of skin on his neck that looks out-of-place.

I like how you handled the wrinkles, hair color, and skin tone. Keep up the interesting work!

mikedimples
take a look at some of the adjustment I made for the skin tone.

ALL FOUR PHASES

As for the other suugestions you mentioned, I guess I will keep them for future projects. I consider myself done with this challenge. and I would like to thank all of you who made any comments about the challenge.
