Hey guys, I know this isn't exactly about retouching. But, I am a retoucher who has been asked to do something he has never done and I don't know where else to turn! If anyone can give me some advice on how to do a logo for an automobile please help. Even if you could point me in the right direction. Illustrator I assume, but do I have to resize the document perfectly? I promise I won't ask about anything like this again, nor will I ever have to do it.

Re: Graphic Designers HELP car logo? Thanks, thats some cool stuff. After looking on web I haven't found anything that specifies large print like a car. Like what format, do I have to resize? I dont know what I am doing, I will try and figure it out. Thanks for the reply though.

Re: Graphic Designers HELP car logo? Yeah, you'll need to do it in Illustrator. Or shoot it at a very good resolution. Get your dimensions for the car and then make a shape in illustrator, and just fill in your shape with your design. I did that for 2 busses once, and it's an easy way it's quick (4 mb file). Your file does not have to be perfect fit, but you have to be very away of where the doors/windows are. And the wheels, don't forget those. Good luck.
