Re: i'm just amazed with this...

LostHighway watch out for saturation and overly done hdr look

So, that's another one, but I can't feel the same looking at mine and at Dayan ones. Still a good exercise.
Maybe, HelloPiccadilly (if you have time), would be fine to try out something with more natural light and balanced strobe

The .psd:

p.s.: well this one is a little strange, I'm used to work in ProPhotoRGB and then convert into sRGB for web. Converting this particular one I've a color shift :S

ApWizard, I really like ur attempts..You give picture a special cool fashion atmosphere..))

What do u mean by "balanced strobe"?

Actyally, I don't like natural light, cause my lense so cheap, but I can try....I wish I had high aperture optics..

Re: i'm just amazed with this...

Thank you

I mean using the strobes as fill lights for the shadows like on these from Dayan:

http://brunodayan.com/pics/fas1/fas1_04.jpg

balancing the strobes output with the ambient light.

Re: i'm just amazed with this...

They all definately have makeup on. Probably hours work of makeup at that. Then you have different lighting techniques etc.
