my first attempt at photoshop, double chin, HELP!

So, I have NEVER used photshop before, but I'm trying to learn as I go and it's proven to be a lot harder then I thought, (who knew!)
I am generally pretty good at the computer, but not this program, it's very daunting.
Anyway, I have 2 pictures that were taken at a wedding, and in general i like the pictures, but there are double chin's in both of them, so i was trying to remove them. Well, easier said then done. I did some research on the web, and there are some sites that go into detail to explain how to re-touch a double chin, but because the program is so new to me, it's very compliacated. Anyways, I'm new here so I don't know how to post pictures, ( well i tried, but mine are too big, ) I have the original picture, and one that i have very poorly tried to re-touch.
If anyone is willing to have a look at them for me, and maybe give me some pointers, that would be wonderful! thank you!

If you use Photoshop you can post a fairly large picture which is under 100k using the save for web function in Photoshop as described here:

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image elsewhere and attach a link in the thread, but also please attach an under 100K version (so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links).
Other Hosts if you do not have your own site:
ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) photobucket.com (1 Meg max free, 5 Meg PRO) mediafire.com (100 Meg per file, free) post a link in the thread to the site that is hosting the larger image.
Remember to attach an under 100K version in the thread so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links.
You can also use these Free sites: (YouSendIt.com); (Podmailing.com);(Pando.com); (Sendspace.com) to send your original to your own email address, then open that email message, copy the link, and post that link in the thread.
