dark photo double chin

I was hoping someone could help me correct this photo. It's four old friends at a recent party and the picture is too dark. I'd also like to fix the double chin on the bottom left woman. Any hints? I've attached the photo in case someone wants to try and fix it.

Lightening the image works very well with the Shadow/Highlights filter ("Image"-"Adjustments"-"Shadow/Highlights"), you can fix the double chin with the healing brush and a bit of dodging and burning (burn under the chin so the throat looks farer away).

Edit: I'd show you my quick attempt but it looks quite poor since my tablet is actually having problems.
