Lucisart 3ED/SE for portrait & beauty retouching

If some of you care to share, how do you incorporate lucisart 3ed/se into your beauty, skin, portrait and fashion retouching? i.e, your workflow, the processes you use, etc, without making it look obvious like most of the ones I see on the net.
Those of you using Topaz adjust can help as well.

I would also like to know which one most of you prefer to use, disregarding the price differences.

Most of the tutorials I've seen are for landscape or things other than fashion or beauty.

Thanks

Re: Lucisaer 3ED/SE for portrait & beauty retouchi

Well If I may say, Lucis nor Topaz would be recommended at all for "Beauty".
It is usually for Grungy type images or for men as it does not favor skin AT ALL.
It will micro contrast all the defects and blemishes in the skin which you do not want un less you are doing something special.. Holloween...:+}

Maybe you will get some different opinions but my speciality it shooting and retocuhing Beauty and would never think of using either.
Hope that helps

Topaz looks very interesting, but u can probably achieve the same result using HDR technique (donno if it would look good on beauty though).

I'm not trying to be anal here but I don't think GEE was asking for a critique on those images. He was merely trying to show samples to my question. I just don't want this thread to be high-jacked for image critiques.
Thanks

Its not that people aren't forthcoming, its that most people think that all is done with plug ins.... I have read that Dave Hill uses NO lucis art plug ins in his images. It's also dependent on what results you're after. Normally for beauty photography plug ins are too "powerful" because most images ask for skin texture to be intact. This is what makes most plug ins unusable for beauty retouch or any retouch you need to leave the skin texture in.

How ever there is a place for plug ins and quick fixes. It mostly has to do when you're retouching a very large number of photos and with very little time, and when the client isn't after skin texture.
For example normal portraits, wedding photos. Its not that they ask for blurry skin, its that in those areas they are OK with "beautyfying" that's not close to reality.

Anyway I'm getting of track here...
