Smile Changing Skin Color wanted advice

Hi Everybody,

Few days ago I have seen this tutorial,
http://blog.romanzolin.com/index.php...n_color&more=1

I want guidance regarding this -
Did you have more ideas to manipulate skin color with layer blend mode and blending options.

I have seen more tutorial like this on the web but not remembering the links.

thanks in advance.

What exactly are you interested in achieving? Completely change the skin color? Or "equalizing" color?

Depending on what you want there will be different ways of achieving it, specially in photoshop.

Re: Changing Skin Color wanted advice

I want to enhance skin color, I write "change skin color" b'cause some times
terrible casts occur on skin which difficult to remove.
I am perticularly interested in layer blend mode correction.

Do you have an example of what you're having trouble with? As to layer blend modes, it all depends on your taste and what particular necessity you're trying to fulfill.
You can use color, normal, screen, soft light, darken, multiply.... it all depends on what you need.

mmm I'm thinking your problems stem more with the printing process than the way you change colors. You'll get more problems if for example the computer you're retouching on isn't color calibrated to the "printer" than changing the skin color using color blend mode versus Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.

Re: Changing Skin Color wanted advice

The skin in that tutorial looks pretty odd... I use just a few and easy techniques like painting in a color blend layer or a HUE blend layer. Also you can color correct the skin by using the channel mixer or color balance. If your problem is on the prints, you must know what we see on the screen never will be exact when printed out. And like Cuervo says, you hsould be sure you have all your workstation well tempered, clavier.
