retouch critique please...

here's a retouch I made yesterday just for a bit of fun and practice.

Nice dental work and use of the transform tool.. the D&B isn't bad either.. all in all a nice piece of work but a bit contrasty for me..

I also agree that it looks like it was done before... is it your own picture?

thank you, I think I increased the contrast a little too much LOL I'll have it in mind next time...

The skin is well done, you have some color issue in the neck and chin.

The main thing I see wrong with this (Other than the original being retouched already) is that she had a look, an expression and u killed it.

Her eyes were gorgeous in the original now u have some broken pixels and too many different colors - IMO just working on the make up and luminosity of the eye would have been enough.

I like what u did with the hair but I think u need to remove flying hair - strays too.

Good work overall

what is the best way of removing flying hair? Usually I'd go with the clone stamp but sometimes it gives me blotchy results...

and about the expression change I made, was only for my personal taste, the before image gave me a feeling of awkwardness with the shoulder and the mouth.

I think removing those couple of theets makes her mouth looking like a wolf.
